Marine Corps lance corporal Michael Adams has suffered from traumatic brain injury and PTSD since his vehicle ran over an anti-tank mine in Iraq. In Septem­ber of 2015, when Michael suffered a stroke, his service dog JW alerted his Britiany, effectively saving Michael’s life. Along with daughters Navaeh and Cecelia, the Adams family is very gratified that the Makeover team is renovating their home in Orlando, Fla.
