Schaeffer Family Home Makeover - Military Makeover on Lifetime TV

The Schaeffer Family

United States Marine Corps Sergeant Donald “D.J.” Schaeffer was deployed to Sangin Valley, Afghanistan, in 2011. Like many veterans, D.J. has had a rough time adjusting to life back home, experiencing struggles with depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. D.J. and wife Annie’s dream of owning a home came true a little over two years ago, but the house built in 1956 needs a lot of work—the Schaeffers are grateful for the helping hand from Military Makeover.
