The Ewing Family Home Makeover - Military Makeover on Lifetime TV

The Ewing Family

As a Gold Star family, the Ewings have sacrificed more for their country than most. Hilda and Arthur Ewing’s eldest son, Army Pfc. Jeremy Ricardo Ewing, 22, paid the ultimate price. He was one of eight soldiers killed in a car bomb attack as his unit was doing a dismounted improvised-explosive device-sweep in Baghdad on April 29, 2004. The surviving Ewing children help mother tremendously with the mortgage and house repairs for the family's Miami Gardens home, which is in desperate need of a renovation.
