Hosted by Montel Williams — a former Marine and Navy veteran and long-time advocate for service members — Military Makeover With Montel has become a space where veterans are given the opportunity to continue to thrive. The series rallies expert designers, contractors, and other home professionals to transform the homes of military families across the United States.
Williams leads a dedicated team that includes Art Edmonds, a seasoned TV host, spokesperson, and voiceover talent with over 20 years of experience, and the ultra-talented designer Jennifer Bertrand, who brings her own warmth and expertise to each family project. Together, they create spaces that honor the lives and sacrifices of veterans, reminding viewers of the ongoing support these families deserve.
During the acceptance of the Outstanding Reality Show award, Williams offered a heartfelt tribute to the veterans and families featured on the show.
“I want to thank all those veterans that allow us to honor them this way,” he said. “Remember, right now, there are over 25 armed conflicts going on around the world. It’s a matter of days, weeks, and months before we have some of our precious treasures coming back here. Do not wait until then to say, ‘thank you for your service.’”
His words highlighted Military Makeover’s mission to support those who have given so much to their country, while creating a reminder that their sacrifices should never go unnoticed.

Produced by Associated Television International, this year’s Family Film and TV Awards also honored Big Brother as Best Competition Series and Let’s Make a Deal as Best Game Show. Hosted by Kevin Frazier of Entertainment Tonight and Amanda Kloots of The Talk, the ceremony featured an impressive lineup of presenters, including Maria Menounos, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Nia Vardalos, Alison Sweeney, Julie Chen Moonves, and stars from Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage: Montana Jordan, Will Sasso, and Rachel Bay Jones.
