The Daniels Family
Michael Daniels was born and raised in East Quogue, New York and joined the Marine Corps shortly after Sept. 11, 2001. He spent 4 years in the Marines and served 2 tours in Iraq where he experienced some of the most difficult and dramatic fighting of the war. Today Michael is 100% permanently disabled. He continues to suffer from severe PTSD, three traumatic brain injuries as well as knee, ankle, and back injuries. His wife Heather tells us, “Serving as a Marine is the best thing Michael has ever done, and he does not regret a single day of his time served. He is extremely proud of what he has accomplished and how he fought so bravely for our country.” Heather’s nursing career had just begun in March of 2020, which rapidly turned into the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. She continues to care for intensive-care COVID-19 patients. Heather believes this is her call to duty and time to serve, just as her husband Michael did in the military. Michael and Heather recently bought their first home in Deerfield Beach, FL. Their (official) wedding was planned to take place in Fort Lauderdale, FL in May 2020, but when the pandemic hit, they had to cancel their plans six weeks before the date. They went to the courthouse anyway to seal the deal and they can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends in 2021!
