The Harrison Family
Army veteran Casey Harrison sustained countless head traumas over the course of his tours of duty in the Iraq War, serving as the driver of the lead vehicle of his unit’s convoy team, which was assigned to identify enemy bombs. Like many veterans, Casey also suffers from severe anxiety as a symptom of his PTSD—to the point where he cannot answer his cell phone if he doesn’t recognize the number. The devoted husband and loving stepfather to three daughters also experiences permanent, relentless ringing in the ears, forcing him to wear special hearing devices to have normal, day-to-day conversations. The Harrisons’ Kansas-City area home needs major updating; Military Makeover is honored to help give this deserving veteran and his family a home renovation they will remember for the rest of their lives.
