After suffering a life-threatening gunshot wound from a sniper while deployed in Afghanistan, Marine Corps veteran Devin Kyle has undergone 10 surgeries and suffers from PTSD because of his near-death experience. The Purple Heart recipient’s wounds have mostly healed, but the emotional scars remain, and Devin’s wife Joanna and Raelynn motivate him to look ahead to better days. Military Makeover is proud to help renovate this military family’s Tampa Bay, Florida-area home.
