South Carolina, home to a number of the country’s most important military installations, is dedicated to supporting its large veteran community. If you serve there, they want you to stay when you transition out.
The South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs (SCDVA) is there to guide transitioning military and veterans into the next phase of their lives by helping them take advantage of their GI bill benefits.
South Carolina also offers Tuition Assistance Programs, State Veterans Nursing Homes Benefits, and assists with the Veterans’ Trust Fund Military Enhancement Plan Grant Proposal. Most importantly, they provide assistance with resume writing and connecting them with employers.
