The Phinizy Family
Billy Phinizy joined the military in the 1990s with the National Guard, and then re-enlisted right before his 40th birthday, deploying to Afghanistan from 2009 to 2010. After Billy was classified as permanently disabled with traumatic brain injury and severe PTSD after returning home, he and wife Lauren try to teach their children Benjamin and Grace the importance of giving back to veterans and their families.
