Every year, we get to celebrate those who have sacrificed to serve our country on various occasions. But some establishments are going above and beyond to give back to our veterans and active military members year-round. We’ve compiled a list of a few restaurants that offer specific deals and military discounts to personnel and veterans throughout the year.  

Outback Steakhouse 

The Australian-themed steakhouse is a big proponent for giving back to the service community. Coined as the Heroes Discount, Outback has made a commitment to offering 10 percent off the entire check for not only veterans but also policeman, firefighters, medical staff, and first responders. This deal is applicable all day, every day with a limit of one discount per table. 

Bonefish Grill 

Similar to Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill also offers 10 percent off the entire check for all service members, veterans, and first responders. It’s applicable year-round, every day. Be sure to have a valid state or federal ID with you to redeem this offer. 

Hard Rock Café  

Depending on the location, you can find discounts of 10 to 15 percent off food and retail purchases for active duty and retired military personnel at Hard Rock Café. They even offer up to 10 percent off hotel rooms for active military personnel year-round as well.  

The Original Pancake House 

At the discretion of the owner and depending on the location, some OPH locations offer a service member discount of 25 percent off the whole check every Wednesday. The discount is applicable to military members as well as first responders.  

Applebee’s 

Some participating Applebee’s locations offer a 10 percent daily discount to active military members and veterans as well as a 30 percent discount on “Military Monday’s.” Applebee’s also has some great Veteran’s Day offers to look out for, including a choice of a free full-size entrée.  

Dairy Queen 

Most Dairy Queen locations offer 10 percent off to military members and first responders daily though it varies by location. Some offer even bigger discounts like their Mid-Atlantic location which offer 50 percent daily to any first responders in uniform.
