The Hixon makeover continues in full swing. Check out all the progress, as well as a few extra special surprises along the way!

U.S. Navy veteran Chris Hixon served his country during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield in 2007. Hixon survived combat service, but sadly lost his life defending the lives of students during a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14th, 2018. He is survived by his wife Debra and their two sons, Thomas and Corey.

Now, the makeover is picking up speed, and an incredible amount of progress is happening!

Though the roof installation ran into a few hiccups, the Military Makeover team is committed to getting the job done with ABC Supply Co.

Then the Hixon family is off to Simon Malls’ Fashion Valley in San Diego, California for a complimentary shopping spree.

We’re back with our longtime parter, Goodman Manufacturing, ready to check out their headquarters.

The outside of the Hixon home will help bring the entire makeover together. We’re working with Scotts Miracle-Gro to help prep the soil for landscaping.

In addition, our friends at Yoli are sitting down with Debbi to discuss ways to get healthy.

Plus, the Florida Panthers are showing their support of the Hixon family, bringing them to a game for a unique experience!
