Montel Williams’s first mission with Military Makeover has been an emotional journey, and the last leg of the renovation proves to be the most moving one. Watch as wounded Air Force veteran Matt Moyers and his wife Rachel get to see their renovated Kansas City-area home for the first time.

As construction manager Ryan Stanley and designer Jennifer Bertrand feverishly put the finishing touches on the makeover, our partners are busy donating their goods and services.

First, ADT arrives with brand-new security technology for the Moyers family!

Thanks to the Pulse, ADT’s state-of-the-art security system, the family will have the ability to lock the front door, arm or disarm their home, and even adjust the indoor temperature.

Connected to an Amazon Alexa, Pulse has features that include burglary monitoring, video surveillance, fire and smoke monitoring, smart doorbells, and a medical alert system. It also allows users to control their garage doors, lighting, and indoor temperature via the Pulse app.

Stay tuned to get a first-hand look at how the ADT Pulse works, including the all-new smart doorbell, which features a camera and two-way audio to speak with visitors in real-time.

Then, technology icon RCA steps in and generously upgrades the Moyerses’ television and entertainment systems with three brand-new TVs, including a 65-inch 4K smart TV for the downstairs media room.

Magic Chef is with us again to help the Moyers family with an incredible variety of appliances for their home. Unique and perfect for our military family, Magic Chef helps pull it all together! From the versatile multicooker to the programmable toaster and stainless steel coffeemaker, the Moyers family is all set in the kitchen! But that’s not all—Magic Chef also donated a food dehydrator and tabletop ice maker for Matt’s fishing and camping trips. Finally, Magic Chef donated not one, but two freezers for the Moyers garage.

As the makeover concludes, Matt shares his gratitude to Ryan with a poignant gift—you don’t want to miss this.
