Virginia is one of the most military friendly states in America, finding great value in their purpose.

That’s where the Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS) comes in, connecting Virginia’s veterans and their families to federal and state benefits, support, quality care, and recognition they have earned.

The Department of Veterans Services (DVS) is organized into six service delivery sections: benefits, veterans education, transition and employment, care centers, veterans cemeteries, the Virginia War Memorial, and the Virginia Veteran and Family Support Program.

Three citizen boards work closely with the agency to support the effective delivery of services to Virginia’s veterans: the Board of Veterans Services, the Joint Leadership Council of Veterans Services Organizations, and the Virginia War Memorial Board.

Stay tuned to learn more about this incredible organization and why Virginia may be the perfect place for you and your family.
