On this episode of Military Makeover: Operation Career, we’re checking out companies that strive to make a difference in the lives of our country’s veterans––from health services to franchise opportunities.

First, we’re traveling to Browning, Montana to visit the Blackfeet Community Hospital on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. We’re speaking with members from the Indian Health Service and discovering how they’re giving back to American Indians and Alaska Natives.

Then, we’re learning about AbbVie, a global, research-based biopharmaceutical company dedicated to creating new medicines. With more than 29,000 employees, AbbVie recognizes that veterans bring highly valuable skills to the workplace.

Next up, PuroClean, one of the nation’s leaders in property restoration, helps military veterans become business owners through a unique program called PuroVet.

Transitioning into civilian life is difficult for many of our nation’s veterans, which is why SkyWest is trying to make it a little easier. We’re meeting with some of the company’s team to hear why they chose SkyWest as their next step after serving our country.
